After much research I discovered that DC’s ward 8 has limited accessibility to technology. Due to this residents have a difficult time communicating with city services. As more and more services require online capabilities this creates great inequity east of the river.
Solution: EmpowerDC a web page and service design the centralizes all city services, as well as creating training for local advocacy. You know what you need, who can help, and how to get there in just one place online.
